Just recently, on July 16, 2026, a power failure at the Vantage Data Centers campus in Sterling, VA forced the facility to switch to its massive backup diesel generators. The result? The local Board of Supervisors was flooded with complaints from residents choking on diesel fumes and suffering through deafening noise.
